HUDSON — Nobody was seriously injured following a three-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.

Hudson police said they responded to Central Street and Sullivan Street around 4:52 p.m. for a report of a three-vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, police learned that a 2009 Ford Fusion driven by James Nardone, 56 of Groton, Massachusetts, was traveling east on Central Street approaching Sullivan Road, when a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Zachary Bernardini, 18 of Dracut, Massachusetts, was on Lawrence Road at the intersection of Central Street, at a stop sign.

Police said the Nissan began to cross Central Street and collided with the Ford Fusion. The Nissan then struck a 2004 Toyota Sienna driven by Sonya Colby, 41 of Hudson, that was stopped at the stop sign on Sullivan Road across from Lawrence Road, and the Nissan came to rest on its side.

Police said the airbags were deployed in the Ford and the Nissan. Nardone and a single passenger in the Ford Fusion, as well as Bernardini, were all treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police said Colby and three juvenile occupants were not injured during the crash.

Police said all three vehicles were towed from the scene with moderate to heavy damage.

Bernardini was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way at a stop sign. The crash is still under investigation.
