NH state police set to conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Bedford


BEDFORD — The New Hampshire State Police announced that they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Bedford during the weekend of July 28, 2017.

NH State Police and Bedford Police are working together to identify and apprehend impaired drivers. Sobriety checkpoints are one of the best methods of deterring impaired drivers.

The checkpoint is authorized by the Hillsborough County Superior Court, and will be conducted under guidelines promulgated by the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

The whereabouts of the checkpoint has not been confirmed.
